Cedar Waxwings

This April was the 2nd wettest on record, and most of that precipitation came this week. It’s been a long week, with day after day of drizzling rain, dark grey skies, and cold temperatures. In fact, we even received some snow. I’ve felt moody and withdrawn with so many days of little outside stimulation and no sunshine. On the more positive side, though, we were visited by cedar waxwings three days in a row. The light was terrible, and I had to take advantage of the fleeting moments when there were pauses in the rainfall, but I managed a few fairly clear images of these beautiful birds. They’re one of my favorites.

    1. Thank you!

I love these birds. It had been a while since the last time I saw them, so it was a treat to have them around for a few days.
